Cottonwood Park becomes an open-air gallery for a weekend of serious art and relaxed wandering. More than 200 juried artists bring work selected from a much larger pool of submissions, while food vendors offer everything from barbecue to espresso. Children can try weaving, painting and clay in ArtStop rather than simply trailing the grown-ups between booths. Festival admission is free; some hands-on activities cost extra. Saturday runs later than Sunday.
