Houston Gem, Mineral, Jewelry & Fossil Show is a sparkly annual show from the Houston Gem & Mineral Society, held at Humble Civic Center in Humble. Think live demos where rocks get polished into gems, silversmithing and beading, plus dealers selling gems, minerals, fossils and jewelry. Bring a rock or fossil for expert identification, and check out the displays of specimens. Kids 10 and under get in free, with youth activities and games for the little rock hounds.
