Archival film and live sound share the room at Aurora Picture Show for Jamire Williams’ opening performance of Scattered to the Ends of the Earth. Williams, Tyler Swanner and collaborators respond to a three-channel video installation with drums, voice, synthesizers and samples, letting the images shape the performance as it unfolds. This Houston premiere launches Aurora’s Ghost Notes initiative. The opening costs $10, or is free for members; later installation visits are separate.
