Lyle Lovett and his Small Large Band take the stage at ACL Live at The Moody Theater for a Saturday evening in Austin. Lovett's songwriting moves comfortably between country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues, giving the concert more variety than a single genre label suggests. Come for the stories as much as the music, and enjoy hearing a Texas artist whose humor and phrasing reward a close listen. The downtown performance begins at 8 p.m., with tickets required for entry to the show.
