Choose McAllister Park in San Antonio when you want a larger park with room for a walk, a ride, or an informal outdoor gathering. Its network of routes makes it possible to extend a visit beyond a single short loop, while recreation areas offer other reasons to spend time outside. Pick an entrance and trail appropriate to your activity rather than treating the whole property as one route. Check the city map, posted trail etiquette, and conditions, after rain or during very hot weather.
