Monkeys on a String is a high-energy tribute to Dave Matthews Band, bringing the jammy, improv-heavy sound of the original to ACL Live at 3TEN in Austin. Formed in 2017 by San Antonio singer and musician Alex Cortez, this Texas-based group is made up of professional musicians from across the country who play with real passion and authentic style. Expect plenty of dancing, tasteful improv solos and a band that loves getting audiences on their feet.
