Railfest is an annual model railroad festival held at the Galveston Railroad Museum in Galveston, a short trip from Houston. Model train displays, live entertainment, exhibits and vendors fill the museum, so there's plenty to see for train lovers and curious visitors alike. The museum's real trains and historic railroad setting make it a fun backdrop for the miniature layouts. Come ready to wander, admire the detailed model displays and chat with fellow railfans.
