Safety Fair & Touch-a-Truck is a free, hands-on day at Oak Point Event Field in Plano, just outside Dallas. Kids of all ages can touch, explore and climb aboard fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment and more. Local groups like Plano Fire-Rescue and Plano Police are on hand to meet families and show off their gear, and a PHI Air Medical helicopter may land, subject to emergency calls. Later, the Fire Truck Pull lets teams of up to 12 race to pull a fire truck.
