22nd Annual Archaeology Fair in Dallas-Fort Worth

22nd Annual Archaeology Fair in Dallas-Fort Worth

22nd Annual Archaeology Fair is a free, all-ages day of digging into the prehistoric past, presented by the Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation. It takes place at Haggard Park in downtown Plano, a leafy public green that makes a relaxed spot for a day of exploring. Try flintknapping, the ancient art of shaping stone tools, then make cornhusk dolls, pinch pots and bracelets. Kids can join a mock archeology dig, check out historic artifacts and learn about careers in archeology.
