Paws and Paths: Exploring the Bauer Unit at Guadalupe River State Park is a guided dog walk through the natural beauty of the Bauer Unit in Spring Branch, just outside San Antonio. Park volunteer Ed and B.A.R.K. Ranger Baxter lead this roughly two-mile hike, and along the way you'll learn about the area's plants, wildlife and geology. Ed knows his surroundings well, and questions are encouraged. It's free with park admission, and friendly dogs are welcome on a leash of six feet or less.
