Turkey Trot Boerne is a Thanksgiving-weekend race at Boerne Main Plaza in Boerne, and it's one of the town's largest races. Hosted by the Boerne YMCA, it offers competitively timed 5K and 10K races, plus a 1-mile walk along the Cibolo Creek Trail. Finishers receive a medal. Runners can chase a personal best, walkers can enjoy the creek views, and the whole town turns out to cheer. Show up early, bring your running shoes and get your Thanksgiving started right with a morning of fresh air.
